Each Primary Community Rehabilitation Therapist has experience working with all levels of Acquired Brain Injury, including severe, catastrophic, and dual diagnosis. ABION staff are qualified in a wide range of disciplines, including Kinesiology, Psychology, Recreation & Leisure, and Educational Assistance.

Our staff members have completed specialized training in the treatment and rehabilitation of persons with ABI, including:

  • OBIA Level 1 Program in Home and Community-Based Rehabilitation
  • OBIA Level 2 courses:
    • Neurobehavioural Disorders
    • Cognitive Intervention for Adults with ABI
    • Litigation in Brain Injury

  • Mohawk College Certificate Course in Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation
